Forgive me for coming in on the tail end of this thread.. I'm nearing the end ( or never ending) TBI to TPI swap with a Comp Cam xfi 230/236 as well. I(t's in a93 Caprice Wagon. I have two questions.

First off, I didn't notice the injector size lb/hr rating posted in the thread. I'm having trouble with 32 lb/hr as being overkill and fouling plugs within minutes. Knowing what you were successful with would be great help to me.

( By the way the grind # for the 230/236 is 08-467-8, also identified as CS-280XFIi HR-13. I've got the grind card in front of me.)

Although I'm on a speed density 730ECM, The VE table (fuel curves) and Spark advance should be in the ballpark. I'd love to see those tables! Can you a shoot a copy of the .bin file to me? $? You mentioned that you self programmed the system.. using what program and tools. I've got TunerproRT now and have been thibnking the prominator route.

Full disclosure:
1993 Caprice Wagon ("Shammoo" ex Kicker demo car) 5.7L, Comp Cam XFI 230/236, Accel 32lb/hr injectors. , SLP siamesed runners(not yet matched to) stock plenum and base, AFR 195 heads with Proform 1.6:1 rockers.Shorty small tube headers, dual cats , speed density 730ECM

currently residing "quietly" in driveway.

Went with my friend to get his 86.5 turbo supra dyno'd, around 290 hp and torque! not bad! I really wanted to dyno my car, but I need to break the crate motor in..... only have about 250 miles on it so far

I'm running 30# injectors, idle PW numbers are on the low side but manageable. Smaller injectors for this particular setup would probably make more sense but I had/have other plans... and then the 30's are probably going to be too small.
I've been doing tuning lately with Tunerpro and Autoprom, but before that I was burning and editing code mostly with a hex editor.
