heads for a 305 tpi

I was wondering if it would be better to port and polish the heads on my car now or to buy a new set? But the thing is I dont know where to look for 305 tpi heads. Help Please.

If you are mechanically inclined and do your research you can port the heads that are currently on the car. 305 tpi heads are no different than any other 305 heads cast after about 1981 so finding heads is not an issue. Or you can buy aluminum L98 heads like I did. see the sig. Also do a search for this topic. It has been covered extensively on this site.

You'll find that it's about the same cost to rework your old heads as to purchase new ones. World Products makes S/R Toquers for a 305.
