Vortec 305?
Anybody running Vortec heads on their 305 here?
Just wondering what kind of gains can be had with them on the LB9.
And how they worked out on the 305.

I'm putting them on a 305 for my burban, but it's not performance oriented. - I pretty sure there are a couple people on here running them on 305's. - The only negative thing I can see is the slight loss of compression ratio. - other than that, there's no reason a 305 wouldn't see the same gains as a 350.

They have to be machined so the combustion chamber is 58cc however I am sure they would make good power. Trick flow has released there aluminum heads for the 305. They have 58cc chambers and cost just over a grand. Check summit or jegs catalog for the part number.
