holley AFPR
those of you who have a holley AFPR does it take a while to start your car. I am talking about the number of revolutions that your starter has to make in order to start your car.
Ya I had the same problem it turned out the diaphram in the holley regulator was bad. I bet your having the same problem. Start the motor let it run for a minute then turn it off and pull the vacuum hose off of the regulator and check for gas if there is gas in the hose that means the regulator has a bad diaphram.

When my Holley diaphram started leaking I didn't see any fuel in the vacuum line. I jumpered fuel pump to run with eng off and still didn't get any leakage. When I pulled the vac line off with the eng idling, it squirted all over the distributor.
BTW: Holley sent me a new diaphram for free after I called them up.

I have a Holley AFPR and no problems reported here.
It seems that the only reported problem with the Holley is the diaphram. I dont know if its really any different than others or not.
