fuel pressure?
i recently swapped out my tpi 305 for the 350,it came out of a 89 iroc. And i haven`t noticed barely any differernce in power if any.i switchedmy chips to a hypertech chip with a stock 91 350 chip on top,so could it be the fuelpressure is too low or where else should look for loss of power?

doubt it's the fuel pressure, unless it was suspect before. You can check it though if that'll spin your prop.
fuel filter clogged?
worn out 350?
there shouldn't be a *huge* power difference, so maybe your hopes are just too high?

the only thing i used from the 305 was the wiring.the motor had 90,000 on it and it just got new performance injectors before droped it in my z,but the power was rather noticable when i got rid of the smog pump and put the headers in.

Fuel pressure should be 43ish with the vacuum line off.
Did u use everything from the 350? Did it have the knock sensor on it or did u use your old one from your 305. They are different.
Performance injectors? there is no such thing. they are bigger and smaller injectors, but none will give u better performance if everything else is correct. What pound/hr ratings are the "performance injectors"?
Did u thoroughly check all mech and elcetrical junctions disturbed in the engine swap. Was something messed up, mech/elec on the "new" 350?
Is the timing set correctly? Same goes for the IAC and TPS? Have u verified the sensor readings with a scanner?
Positive your not dealing with a flaky ign coil, pick up coil or a bad set of wires?
Throw away the Hypertech chip and run the stock memecal, if u want to play with that learn to do it yourself after you get the car working properly.
