New bottom end, 350 cu.in., swapping tp TPI

I purchased a 350 on Saturday. All bottom end, oil pan to valve covers, no intake. Rated at 300+ HP and 400+ ft. lbs. of Torque. I am still pulling everything together to do the swap, (L03, 305). Do I need a different fuel pump? I also purchased a set of 24 lb injectors. My main question is about the ECM chip. I have a '730 ready to install but no Mecmal/prom. If I get a stock chip with Vats disabled, modifed injector size, will I be able to at least get the thing running smoothly? I have no prom burning equipment and am terrified of learning it.
