Lb9 with L98 injectors and L98 memcal?
Well, I got them thinking I had a 350 (addressed in another thread) and I can't sell them for what I just paid for them. I figure the L98 memcal will be fine at least to remove the speed limiter and raise some HP with different curves. But what about the injectors? Will the L98 injectors cause fuel problems, I was planning on getting an AFPR later on so that will help out right?
It will always tend to be rich. The ECM will compensate as much as it can in closed loop mode. The other consideration is the difference in timing tables. The 305s seem to like a little more aggressive timing map.
It could probably all be corrected with a custom PROM.

No why would the L98 have more aggressive timing curves? I dont thing GM purposely detuned the 305 with a less aggressive timing curve. I am sure GM ran the most aggressive timing curve they could given their other limitations such as fuel octane and coolant temp. If you had an 86-89 MAF car I would say put the injectors in and put the 350 chip in the computer and call it a day, it would run just fine. Since you have a later SD car you are screwed. either leave it alone or put the injectors in and burn a chip. SD is supposed to be fairly intolerant of modifications.
