305 CCC to TPI conversion help
Hey everyone, I'm wondering if anyone could help me with the pin layout of the IP connector, It's the one that "Y's" off the ECM and go to the ALDL connector and the SES light Etc... I'm trying to swap a TPI unit from a 1987 camaro into my 1986 firebird and I have a few issues... Backup lights turn on when the key is OFF!? I know that the ecm is pinned right I've double check that. I've tried All-Data, but for my situation the diagrams are a little vague, as is my Haynes manual. Thanks for any help or Ideas.

Figured this out
Just wanted to let you all know, that I have finally figured this out. Basically I had to disassemble the dash and the use an ohm meter to "pin" the connectors correctly. I had posted the question hoping, somebody else had done this so I could save myself a lot of frustration. later
