Holley Stealth Ram + 420 cid

With a Holley Stealth Ram and a 420 cid what other components would you add to get the maximum streetable n/a rwhp? is over 500rwhp possible?

i'd say if you do a mild port job on the stealth ram, you can see near if not over 300cfm from that intake... stock its rated at 275cfm. i'd definately port it out abit on a 420ci + motor.

after that get some great flowing heads... AFR 210's or trick flows (i think their's is 215cc) that also flow near 300fcm will be best.

get a nice sized solid roller and i can definately see over 500whp and be fairly streetable. all depends on your definition of streetable tho. this combo will do 10's n/a and definately be driveable.

I agree with a mild port job on the Stealthram to support the cubes. As far as the heads you would be amazed how much power small AFR heads can support. They will give you wicked throttle response and a killer torque band. I have seen a 406CI with Edlebrock E-tec heads (smaller version) make 480HP on an engine dyno. No one thought those heads could make that kind of power. Just my two cents, I am sure most people will suggest going with larger heads, I would stick with the ones you got.

well the 210's are larger port sizes which have larger gaskets.. stealth ram dont line up too well with those heads now that i think about it

so definately stick with the 190's.. they will flow pretty darn good with that competition package

HECK, We dynoed a 383 w/195s a 230range 490 lift cam a team g and 750HP holley/ w10.25 cmp and it made 520hp at 5700 and 535tq at 5400 range. The things holds 14/15 vaccume and idles at 850 RPM, also they were out of the box heads with just the street cnc ports. I was really impressed with how well mannerd the engine was. We cant waite to get it in the car and make some passes. AFRs are the way to go especially on the street, man a set of 210s and you would have no problem. If you matched everything I think you could end up with close to 575hp on pump gas, and torque that would start breaking things......lol. Get a good driveshaft.

How was the Idle on that engine? And did you all do a rearwheel dyno and a dyno tune to get those numbers?
