Accel SuperRam & Wiper motor problem.

After trying to install my Accel SuperRam onto my 82' Trans Am, I ran into a minor problem.........the front wiper motor WON'T fit & I got no more then 3 inches of room to use.....it's a very small section wide, so I just need idea's on a motor to replace it with....I tried an 84 Firebird motor......VERY close, but still won't fit....about 1/8 to 1/4 inch shorter & it would have fit, the stock 82 wiper motor isn't even remotely close to fitting, that's about an inch too long. I've thought about trimming the mounting feet down a little. I've also looked at the local junk yark for possable replacements on other cars. Any suggestions? I don't mind having to rewire the system, it wouldn't be the first thing on the car that's needed it. Thanks guys!

Joe

I thought a certain intake from LPE fixed the problem?

I remember some people grinded away the plenum.

On mine I removed the spacers under the wiper motor and eliminated the electrical connection by desoddering it from the circuit board and extending the connector with wires to clear the superam plenium. I then trimmed the wiper motor plastic cover and it now clears.
