what heads for 88 350?
tossing around an idea..
since i have broken exhaust bolts in the heads now, and it really needs valve guides, i was thinking about replacing them with something that will bolt right on, and allow for some future growth. i want all the accessories to bolt on as is, and use the stock TPI setup the way it is.
it's her 88 formula 350 with 85k, runs good, except now i have the broken exhaust manifold bolts to deal with. snapped off flush with to the head. rear bolt too
what sice cc chambers should i look at?
what is the stock head cc? and valve size?
world had a street torquer head at 76cc for 87up
Jegs has them for $400 complete. would they work?
i'd prefer aluminum if possible, to save weight and add compression.

currently the car has basic bolt-ons, right now using exhaust manifolds

i think i am going to try putting the exhaust back together without that bolt
and see what happens
maybe as a fall/winter project i'll do a head swap or change
i have a bolt missing on the rear drivers side too, second one towards the firewall
i'll just wirewheel the exhaust manifold down and put the gasket on

i think i might look at getting some l98 vette heads in the future or some newer aluminum ones to save weight.
