Car running rough

I bought the car not running, now a fun fuel pump later its alive.... but idles like crap... it has accel injectors (30#< i think) an edlebrock t.e.s and y pipe (thats it for exhaust, yes its loud ) it was a 305 car orig, the guy I got it from told me the shortblock was out of a wrecked 90-03is full size van, wit hthe stock 305 heads..... it has a mild (possibly stock) 350 Tpi cam... a bbk throttle body (not 100% sure how large but I think its 52mm) and it has a oxygen sensor simulator (the ecm thinks the sensor is there but its not) an its running the stock 305 chip...

Now for the problem... it runs ok when its cold ( well it idles @ 12-1300 rpm) when it gets a little warm and tries to drop down to a normal idle it stalls...it wil start and rev right up but it wont idle....
it has new plugs and wires, and I was told the shortblock had 50 K on it when it was put in... the car has 82K on it.... and after the swap was done it was driven about 500 mi and then sat for almost 6 years... what do you think?

did anyone have an engine that ran like this when a 350 was run with a 305 chip? I am begininning to think it might just be the program... what are your thoughts?

You can't run 30 lb injectors without a chip reprogram. A 305 should have 19 lb/hr injectors stock!! Get some stock injectors and see how it runs. Also add a damn O2 sensor! You need this or the ECU will not correct fueling accordingly. A simulator is the worst thing you could have on one of these cars.

it has a oxygen sensor, just not hooked up, I'll hook it up and see how much it helps.... I dont have the stock injectors, I bought the car the way it is... but I wanted to know if a new prom would be the soloution to its rough Idle condition....or if it was just due to sitting for so long.... the fuel out of the tank was just nasty when I did the pump ( i replaced the inline filter at the same time) the car is a lot more rodded than I like... I just wanted the vert for a sunny day cruiser.. so I may step down the injectors anyway.... where is the best place to get a custom prom for my set-up?? Thanks!!
