SD and MAF wiring, anything compatible?

I want to swap out my Speed Density for MAF in the next couple months so I don't HAVE to tune. I have read the pros and cons of MAF and SD and MAF is more my style. I hate tuning. So my question is, is there anything that the 2 systems share throughout the years? Even if it's a little wiring harness here and there, let me know.

Thanks.

For mods I plan on a nice cam and heads when my motor gets rebuilt.

Most of the sensors are the same. Knock sensors are different and u can just use a resistor to make it compatible(you would need to replace ti if going backwards to MAF)

Some things came and went as the years went by like cold start and VATS.

The wiring is vary similiar and its easy to go from MAF to SD with a little work and some repinning.

Dont believe that MAF accomodates mods as well as people think it deos either. In most cases it will "seem" to handle it better than SD, and it actually will on lighter upgrades, like just swapping heads or using a mild cam. Either still needs to be tuned properly for the combination to see benefit from it.

If u have SD, I wouldnt bother backdating to MAF.
