I started to disasssemble my 86 iroc today in hopes of doing some upgrades.Well while removing the fuel rail I have broken 5 out the 8 plastic ends on the injectors.They can be removed from the injector seperately.I was hoping someone would know where I can purchase these,or is there some sort of kit that I can buy that has new spacers,o-rings and plastic ends.Any help would be appreciated.

you broke the pintle caps. I think you can get new ones seperately, but not sure where. Look at summit or jegs. I doubt the zone would have em, but maybe. If they are common and interchangeable with a wide variety of other injectors.

 

Any auto parts store can order them. Get new o-rings too. But, as long as they're out, send them to get cleaned and matched, no doubts then.

 

I want to thank those who replied,I have decided to just have them cleaned,and the place will replace all the o-rings and pintle caps.Thanks again for your help.
