ESC question, LO3 to TPI swap

Ok so I have swapped out the old 305 TBI for a spanking 350 which I decided to convert to TPI. Now I had the harness modified to run off the '730 series ECM by tpiparts.net. I will be running a Speed Density system of course, and heres my question...

The ESC for MAF cars is on the firewall right?? The ESC for speed density cars is controllled through the ECM/prom right? Well I have a box on the firewall that I thought was the old ESC from the TBI system. Has a 5-6 prong connector, I think. And a 2-3 prong connector also. Is this for my windshield wipers? Do I keep this box mounted to the firwall or is it useless now????

The esc module from the old maf system is not going to do anything for you. The esc circuit for the speed density is between the prom, ecm and the knock sensor.

Make sure you have a knock sensor for the 90-92 350 TPI motor. I tried to run my 87 TPI motor and it was not compatible with the SD system. So I purchased a knock sensor for the SD 350 and it works perfectly now.
