Make your headers last with Ti-Tech coating from Edelbrock.
Boost performance and drivability in your vehicle with Edelbrock's Tubular Exhaust System headers with Ti-Tech coating. In some cases, you'll shave up to a full second off your 0-to-60 mph times, because the Edelbrock design improves your engine's ability to breathe. Mileage also will improve, because your engine becomes more fuel-efficient. Best of all, these headers give you all this performance with acceptable emissions levels. They accept all stock emissions equipment and are street-legal in all 50 states. The Ti-Tech coating features a C-105 titanium satin finish for heat stability up to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit. As the temperature rises the coating will cure, becoming harder and more abrasion resistant.
Im looking at around 1700 dollars Right Now . Am i going in the right direction. please reply befor i make a mistake.

Check out Trickflows or the Patriot small block head.
I prefer those over the edelbrocks, least the chambers are a little more modern in my opinion.
Also the new AFR are supposed to be affordable and have phenominal flow numbers or shop around for AFR's in general.
Little off the wall, a cleaned up set of Vortecs would do well also.

i just bought the 60859's
i have to say, they look really nice
gaskets line up perfectly
nice and clean
i haven't installed them yet, but since i am not going crazy with a wild setup, they seem to be a nice replacement
the trick flows also seem nice too, and 56cc
just seemed like the e-heads fit better for our needs, and all sensorts and what not are supposed to fit perfectly too
i should start this project in another week or so, and they are very light
i bought the mr gasket .028 head gaskets and crane thin bodied rollers, and proform rocker covers
should be real nice when it's done

i purchased a set of heads about 2 weeks ago i looked all over for the afr's but it seems like everyone that carries the 195 had them on a 8-12 week back order. I ended up going with the dart iron eagle platinum 200cc they flow 275 cfm @.500 and 243 @.400 which is higher than flow than the afr's unless you want to drop close to 1800.00 for the competition port job with them. The best part about the head was summit had them in stock and i had them in 2 days came to 1085.00 that was to my door
I'd stay away from teh edelbrock headers, really small primaries. Go with hooker 2055's or some slp's. You really should pick your heads to match your cam and vice versa. If your not changing the cam, you don't need big heads. Have you or do you plan on changing cams at the same time?

the only thing is the large intake cc my cause a loss of bottom end torque. for a tpi setup that revs to 5500 rpms and is 350ci a 180cc is good and 195 would be pushing it.cam chose is the key there.

but i think for this guy some of the dart 180cc heads will be great for his stock motor.
but imo if you have 1700 bucks to spend , id get a full exhaust, msd, afpr, and k&ns.not that the heads wouldnt help alot.
good luck
I've got a pair or Dart Iron Eagles assembled good to .600 lift with a hydraulic roller cam. If interested the ebay auction is:
