new tpi system

I just bought a tpi system from ebay. The system is stock from a 1985 corvette. I plan to put it on my 383 shortblock. Is there any upgrades i can make such as changing the runners, lower manifold etc. I plan on using a megasquirt computer to run the fuel injection. Are there any other upgrades i can bolt on before i install it on the motor.

Edelbrock makes a high flow base that will bolt right on. Combined with a set of SLP high flow runners, you will be making a decent amount of ponies above what you would have had with a stock system.

Edelbrock Base
SLP Runners

Accel and Edelbrock also make high flow runners, but I dont like the look of the Edelbrock ones, and the SLP ones look nice and simple and get the job done. Look for about 30-40 extra horses with this combo.

I'm looking for advice on a TPI 383 also. Thanks for the info and any other input is always appreciated.
