OFF IDLE HESITATION
My 89 Formula 350 has a 3.27 gear and a flowmaster cat back, with the cat removed. It is basically all stock and I just changed the oil and replaced the fuel filter. It just doesnt seem that fast to me. I can brake torque it at a stop and the tires dont really spin. The revs just kinda hang around 3,000 rpm's without the tires roasting or engine reving higher. It also kinda hesitates off idle. Does it desperately need spark plugs or what? I think it should launch/ blow the tires off with all the low end torque that its rated at. It has 113k miles and doesnt really burn oil either. WTF?

Start with:
Complete tuneup(cap/rotor/plug/wires)
Inspect all vacuum lines for breaks/wear.
Set timing to 6 degrees(stock)
Clean IAC and entire TB out, reset IAC and TPS to spec and see how it goes from there.
