Looking to modify.. what would be the next best thing?

Ok so i came across this on ebay...
eBay Motors: TPI intake system with edelbrock manifold and runners (item 8076573831 end time Jun-24-06 14:14:47 PDT)

Looks like a good deal.. I also have a pair of fresh vortec heads. That system shows that the lower manifold is drilled to work with the heads. So I was wondering, is this a good next step? Or would a cam be? I can't do both, so I hafta go one or the other. Can you guys help me out... I'm not sure what TPI responds best with.

For those that say cam, have any suggestions? Thanks

Buy the intake, save your money, then buy the cam. You really should get a cam that compliments the heads, the two mods go hand in hand.

If you don't mind it used, 600 bucks is a steal for that. That would allow your engine to breath pretty well.

YES, that is a great deal. Buy it....then save your money for a nice cam. When you tear apart the intake......the cam is right there. Why tear things apart twice??? I'm in the process of this right now. I bought the Edelbrock Hi flow intake and Runners, Bought a ported plenum, Holley Adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
Tore things all apart......Well **** a couple more hours and I could do a cam and spring swap. So I did.....but be prepared to spend $280 just for the roller cam. $100.00 for matching springs. You can use your stock lifters. While its apart.....get a new timing gear set. (i did) Summit pretty much has the best pricing. But Advance auto will price match them and have them the next day.
I'll be staring to put things back together maybe tomarrow.
