Carb back to EFI
Hey guys im not trying to be a pain in the *** i just want some details and help. I got a 88 Iroc i bought it with a 383 carbed motor in it, and it runs decent, it has a 700R4 built up and a 3:73 limited slip i got it to run a 12.9 but i want a little more. Like i said its a carbed motor, it was that way when i bought it, and i dont know if i like it or not. I know fuel injection is better for driving everyday, cold morning etc. What i want to do is switch back to fuel injection for the luxury of starting up and going, however i dont know how. I want a good fuel injection system that i can still get 12s out of the motor, but have it more streetable, i want street fast and track fast. MY question is TPI or aftermarket? I know after market is more expensive, and im on a budget but i can wait a little longer and save money if it makes that much difference. Alos if i went with TPI i kn ow i would need alot of parts to come up with, i dont even think my car as the cmputer intact, So were could i find a whole setup of TPI. Thanks for all your guys help i really appreciate it. Tahnks

You should buy a junk beater for as cheap as possible for a donor car.
You dont know what wiring is still there, what has been removed. Your gonna need fuelrails, everything!
So get a donor car, and swap back to TPI. Take everything EFI related, and put it in. Once is runs, then worry about aftermarket intakes.
