Noob needing help with questions about tbi tpi swap!!

hey all,
I have a 91 camaro 305 tbi that I want to put a 350 into. I am building the 350 myself so I can learn how to do it. I have several questions about tpi.

I have an 88 firebird that has a 305 tpi engine. Can I take the tpi setup off of this firebird and put it on my new 350 engine? Will this work? What all will I need to do to get it to work? Please be specific so I can understand everything I will need. What is the difference between MAF and speed density? I read that MAF limits HP to under 350. Is this true? If so is there a way to convert it to speed density? I appreciate anyones help with these questions. Because it is so new to me it gets very confusing sometimes. I will be searching here on the boards and researching but you guys are always so helpful and very knowledgeable so please keep the info coming on this one. I need all the help I can get.

My 350 will have this camshaft.....

and dart iron eagle s/s heads http://www.dartheads.com/chevysh.aspx

I will be adding a good exhaust and headers off of the 88 firebird. assuming they will fit.

Check the tech articles for how to convert TBI to TPI. Its not 100% perfect but it will help. There's also one on converting MAF to MAP.
You'll need a new air intake in front of the throttle body, as the 88 one will have a MAF sensor in it, and you dont want that in front of your engine, you dont need it.

I read the tech articles but will it doesn't say much about if I am using a tpi setup from an 88 thirdgen can I transfer it to the engine that I am building using everything from the 88 car. Like will the wiring harness work from the 88? It looks like I will need to get a custom chip burned. Will this be all I need or will I need other parts. I have just purchased an 88 parts car that has a 305tpi so I just want to take the tpi off and and transfer it to my new engine.

This isnt something I can walk you thru over the internet. Its also not something a new mechanic can do on his own. You're going to need to find someone near you who can help.
Good luck!

Yes.

Assuming you will be transferring everything from the 88 Formula (ECM, harness, fuel pump, sensors etc.), you'll need to have a new PROM burned, along with larger fuel injectors (or just obtain them from a donor L98, to allow things to run smooth, initially)...
