opinions on this combo
350 with around 9.5:1 compression
XE268
Vortec heads, behive springs, ect. machined for added lift
Edelbrock manifold
now this is where i get a little off course. i wish to stay with the LTR. anyone that doesn't agree, please don't waste my time.
would i be better off using the ASM runners, or saimeesing the base like madmax did. i like that setup more, because it looks bone stock, but i guess with a vortec setup, that won't matter much.
this motor is for a street driven S10 Blazer, so the low end torque is key. i don't care much about power above 5000rpms because it will almost never see that. thanks for any input you guys can provide, Jim.

the stock setup was designed for a stock 305 and works well with a 305. you will see nice gains by replacing the runners and lower intake
it is expensive though!

AS&M runners with an aftermarket manifold. I assume those are iron Vortex style heads. If aluminum bump up the compression ratio.
