Porting The TPI Plenum Walls??

Alright, ive got an 87 TPI and Ive read articals that state you can port out two "Cast Walls" inside the plenum for better flow.

Where are these two walls inside the plenum at? Because my engine is apart and I have the plenum/TB sitting next to me.

If anyone could post a picture or give some explanation where they are I would appreciate it.

(Ive looked in the plenum itself, just dont know what their talking about)

Look into the plenum from the throttle body holes. There should be walls towards the bottom of the throttle body holes that stick up. There are also walls that protrude into the plenum in between each runner.

Here is a picture to give you an idea of the walls towards the front of the plenum:

Porting the Plenum of your 85-92 TPI engine and adding an AFPR.

Search around google and this site, there are hundreds of pictures you can use. Check the tech section on the home page too, I know for a fact there is an article there with pictures.

EDIT: Actually the page I was thinking of in the "tech articles" is how to siamese the plenum and runners, if you have SLP runners. Don't follow this procedure. Keep searching this site, theres hundreds of threads on the topic.

If you search on this board you'll find some great pictures and how-to's you probably won't get that detailed of a response to this thread as it's been covered before.

Ill make it easy if u got it laying there.

Remove the 4 TB bolts, pull it off and stare at the front of the plenum.

Walls are self explanatory.

Extra hint: If u hear a high pitched whine when cutting/porting aluminum, stop your about to blow thru
