I have an 86 Camaro Z28 and bought a TPI setup out of an 86 TA. I have all the wiring harnesses and stuff. I put everything in and I don't know if this is going to work. The engine harness hooked up with some connectors on the wrong side. I have identified most of the connectors, but have some on the body harness of the camaro that are still not connected and some of the TPI that are in question. The dash harrness pluged in, but I don't know if they are going to the proper places in the ECM.

The big question I have for now is how much different is the Camaro dash harness to the ECM from the TA dash to ECM harness?
I know I should search more, but I have to get this thing running soon. Sorry for any trouble in making you guys reanswer any questions.

 

I took out the dash and replaced the camaro harrness with the TA one last night. The fuel pump works now and I think this will be the best solution.

The next part is getting the insterment cluster to work. The camaro has a mech. speedo and the TA has Elec. I should be able to use the VSS out put in the camaro dash to feed the ECM. Then work out the gage plug and the world should be right again.
