can anyone help
I have painless harness 60202. does anyone know which wire is the hot for the computers keep alive memory?

not sure what you are reffering to "keep alive memory".
there should be one wire with a fuse inline that connects to the battery if it is anything like the factory wires. this wire is what supplies the ecm power and the fuse is what is pulled when you "clear" the memory of the ecm.

Yeah thats the one. it is orange on my stock harness I dont know what color it is on the painless. Painless doesnt give you the computer pin layout just the sensors and controls.

Has anyone not connected it to the starter and run it dirrect to the bat with an inline fuse?
Thats what I am proposing to do, and the purple wire with it is for the ninth injector and since I had it deleted from my chip I was going to not connect that to the starter either instead of pulling the inject connector as recommended.
