350hp TPI 350?

I still think an engine should achieve the 1hp per cubic inch mark.

I realize it seems difficult to acheive that with TPI, but what do ya'll think a reasonable plan is?

Not counting NOS, superchargers, or turbochargers.

Some thing are obvious, like headers, high flow cat/muffler, CAI.

Decent heads, cam, headers, modified TPI or other intake (SR, HSR, MiniRam, LT1), and tuning. I hit 290 rwhp with TF heads, LT4 HOT cam, ported SLP runners and Edelbrock base, Hooker shorty headers, and home-burned chip, plus the usual free/cheap mods. This is about 365 engine hp assuming 20% loss through the auto tranny. Everything I've done is at: IROC

At 150k miles, and, while there is no smoke of any kind, I have to add about 1 liter of water every two or three days, but there is never a puddle under my car.

Hmm 290 you say eh? Well I doubt I'll make that but I do have a somewhat of a "good" setup no?

355cu. - Brand new shortblock with hyperutectic flattops
Ported 081 heads - bowl work, new valves/back cut, port work
Matched TPI base
Ported Plenum - runner and tb openings
stock runners - might have edelbrock siamesed soon
stock TB with air foil
CAI
Full msd ignition
Full exhaust - headers, hi flow cat, single exit with Bullet muffler
AFPR set at 48psi
22lbs injectors
1.6 roller rockers
981 springs
LT1 cam - .477/.489 w/ 1.6

Any thoughts on the power here?

Quite a few people on this board are making more than 350HP at the motor with TPI. Heck I figure I'm around the 400hp mark as are some others. Good heads are the key and the supporting bolt ons.
