1987 L98 350 question

Hi guys, does a 1987 Trans Am with the L98 350 have an external coil or is the coil in the distributor cap? Thanks

Engine: 350

Transmission: 700r4

Axle/Gears: 3.23's

external coil, To the left of the distributor
