Anyone here using Racetronix fuel pump kits?

Anyone here using Racetronix fuel pump kits?

I was checking out their site today after going over a couple of past articles in GMHTP magazine and they offer two kits for TPI cars, one for n/a cars and one for boosted applications. Anyone here using one and how were the results? I'm preparing to swap to TPI and this looks to be the ticket for finishing the swap and having just about all my future fuel system needs handled for the future.

Racetronix uses the Walbro pumps in their kits usually, the difference is probably the pump it's self. They use Walbro pumps and the N/A one probably uses the 307 pump which has a lower bypass pressure then a 340 pump. Doing the harness too and not just the pump is a good investment, it makes a tangible difference when you get near the hp limits of the pump. This is a very common setup for people doing GNs, usually one of the first fueling upgrades made. I'd blow the extra few bucks and get the 340 fuel pump, never know what combo you'll have in the future.

From reading the specs I think the 340 would be too much as I have no intention on supercharging, just good old n/a power. The harness is a big part of the improvement with the better quality wiring,etc. Similar to doing the "Big 3" wiring upgrade.

I have the 340 kit. Fuel pump volts stay around 13.5-14 according to scanner data. No regrets here.

Would these pumps work in a stock LB9? I'm thinking I have a fuel pump problem. A replacement Delco is about as expensive as these units.

i just installed a racetronix kit a 340 the kit is awesome.as the stock pump wouldent supply enough fuel for the supercharger.the new kit has no problem keeping 60 psi

Overkill on the fuel pump doesn't hurt a thing since your fpr will keep the pressure where it needs to be. I put a Walbro 255 lph pump in my TBI car and it runs just fine. As long as there's not a huge difference in price between the two, I'd go with the better one.

I just ordered the ractronix kit. I already have the walboro 255lph pump installed. So Im just gonna keep the pump that comes with the kit as back up for now. If I new about this kit when I brought the 255lph pump I would have brought the kit instead.
