Check my sig for details about my car. I just bought it 3 weeks ago.
here is my problem. You might call it a "cold start" issue...
When I start my car after it sits for 5-6+ hours it typically takes 4-5 seconds to turn over only when I give it gas to help. Once it turns over it revs at roughly 1500rpms for a sec or two and then quickly drops down to about 400rpms and often times bogs out if I don't give it gas. I can put the car in gear and drive and after a minute or two I can shut the car off and start it right back up everytime - it turns over in less than 2 seconds and idles between 900-1100rpms with little or no 'chug' and continues to operate just fine until I let it cool down for at least 4-5 hours. I'm not sure if this is a typical idle problem or not. Im thinking I just need to clean my IAC or TPS sensor or something.
I'm purchasing a 58mm Holley TB that has a new IAC valve and TPS sensor so I hope that will solve the problem. What do you guys think?
Also what would you guys recommend for injectors? The engine swap was done from the 305TPI to a 350ci 1-pc truck block but other than that I think most everything is stock - including the 19# injectors, 48mmTB, and TPI unit. In fact come to think of it I'm not even 100% sure if the PROM was updated although I think it would have had to have been. Right? How can I be sure?
I'm thinking 24# for the injectors...I will be making a little more than 400 flywheel HP WITHOUT nos....

I'm thinking you're right. A thorough cleaning and light lubrication of the IAC stepper motor would probably solve the erratic idle RPM.
