Strange problem, with idle when warm
So here's my current quandry The car runs fine when i start it up, drives fine cold, it's a little rough in drive but i excpect that on a non stock motor. Sometimes i dont think i have enough vac to operate the brake assist, but thats another problem. Anyway after i warm it up (take it out for a 10 min drive, maybe less) it starts bucking and stalling, maybe hunting, it's hard to get it going from a standstill, acts like it's outta gas. (At idle im running 40 LBS with the vac unplugged to the FPR.) Now if i put it in park the idle returns fine and things seem okay. No codes, but i think my eprom writer may have turned that off (if it's possible) I had somone burn a chip for my mods, so i could get it to a tune shop. My Idle is set to about 800 rpms in drive, timing is set at a stock 6 degrees, too low ? Any ideas as to what i might look at, im trying to fix it enough to get to the car show this weekend if i can, id like to show it for once
***On a side note i may have some upset catalayic converters, i thought i heard them rattling the other day. I have the dual factory cats into a 3 inch, no muffler.....
