90-w-383 P600B Lean Tuning Issues ??

I have a 90 with a 383 with a P600 intercooled. I have 42lb injectors the code is AXYC with a $8 ECU and tuning the car with tunercat. In the scanner the inj Ms will only go to 7.3 and it stops there and the car goes lean. In normal conditions the Ms should be in the high teens @ WOT. I have maxed out the PE table to 50% more and it doesn't change the AF ratio. Any help would be great!!!

Mike

And the answer you'd get would be-
8D PW limit fix. - Third Gen .org : F-Body : Chevrolet Camaro, IROC, Z28, Pontiac Firebird, Trans Am

You'll need an FMU and the posted fix above, or swap to $58 code. See DIY-Prom stickies for that.

PS- It's $8D

Hey -- I know who this is. The owner of J&M in manchester. or I suppose another guy named mike who works there...

How is buisiness mike? And what the heck are you tuning with a $26 ECU code?

By the way - this is the best source for GM OBD1 tuning on the web PERIOD.

Glad you found it.

Later
James.

Yes it is, I've been working and learning on these chip based cars, what fun!!! There is so much more to learn here. These early computers are so much work compaired to the new stuff!! But the basics are the same.....

Great Fun
