Bring Up the Cavalry!
Wassup Fellas?! I have a question:
What can be done/added to a '91 Z28 with an L98 to bring the horsepower up to 300?
Thanks!

Reasonably Hogged SLP runners (walls 80% removed, no cutting/welding)
Accel/Edelbrock Baseplate (avoid edelbrock if possible)
Trickflow or AFR heads
3.5 inch Mufflex exhaust, or 3 inch if "Common Opinion" sways you.
SLP headers
Cam in the 214/224 area
PROM work
I see no reason close to 300 *REAR WHEEL* horsepower couldn't be found here. You will be kissing the big torque bell around 3000RPM good bye, but what can I say? It's cheaper than the SuperRam, and still emissions legal - which the HSR isn't. It's about the best budget solution. Search posts under the user name "1989GTATransAm," he's put down 330rwhp/370ft.lbs tq with a similar setup to that listed above.
Also here another dyno chart (not 1989GTA's) with an edelbrock plate and mod'ed SLP runners... http://users.erols.com/gcwestph/dynorun17.jpg
Ohhhh - option number 2 would be a DIY remote mount turbo and cost a fraction of that amount.
