Need advice
Hello group, it has been a few years since my last post. Sorry for the lapse but my wife was seriously ill. Now on to my question. I have a 87 GTA L-98 with 11,775 original miles on it. It is 100% stock and in near mint condition. I recently had a small dent taken out of the front fender, thanks to a soda can and my 15 year old son. I had the car professionally repaired by a group that does nothing but vintage and classic cars. They were stunned the car still had the original Goodyears and was un-touched.
I told the shop owner that I was looking to install headers, runners, and some other bolt on performance items. He told me not to touch it!!!!! I said I wanted to go the bolt on route and keep the original parts if I ever wanted to sell it as 100% stock. Once again he told me not to touch it!!!!!! I am struggling with the thought of all that trapped HP that a set of headers and cat back would bring. I guess about 20? Your thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

for sure!!! If you had plans to rebuild it or things like that fine....but under 12,000 MILES!!! Leave it alone. Thats awsome. Yeah leave it stock. I would if it was mine. Its worth alot more money. Enjoy it though. Teach your son to appreaciate it. I have just over 100,000 miles on mine. Thats why I did the things I did to mine.
