TPI questions
I'm building a 355 with tpi. The guy I got the tpi setup from told me it came off a 86 305. Would I have to change injectors or would I be able to use the 305 injectors for now? Also would I have to get a prom burned or can I leave it like it is for now? I deleted all of my smog equipment. I need to change anything on my prom since I removed all this equipment or can I get by without burning a prom for now. I'm trying to get it running so I can break in my new motor. If I can get by without changing these things up right now then I'm gonna get it all done after I get it running. Thanks.

You can prabably get it running. I would swap to 22# or 24# injectors. The 305 only had 19#. Make sure you have a adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Its alot easy to swap these when the motors out of the car.
But.....I would get it tuned and that would include burning a prom.
I changed all my stuff. And my car didnt run all that well. I had them put it on a Dyno and custom do me a chip, and it runs great. Taking off your smog stuff wont effect your ECM at all.

You'll need more fuel. That doesn't mean it won't run, but it'll never run right. At least 22s, but like tenpin said, 24 would be better. ....and you'll need a tune to accomodate for the injectors.
But you'll need a tune regardless since the computer thinks you've got a 305. Again, that doesn't mean it won't run, but it won't run right.

I went through the same process, 305 to 355. I tossed my #19 injectors and went with #22 out of a '93 LT1 engine that put down 500whp.
I think I'm good
Also, my AFPR is set to 46psi at idle and 52psi at rpm.
