Car: 83 Trans Am / 79 Camaro/dune buggy
Engine: 400 TPI/406 /1911
Transmission: WC T-5/ T-56 (looking)/bus trans
Axle/Gears: 3.42/3.73/4.56
Anyone doing a carb to TPI swap?
I can help.Just spent hours tracing wires and writing down everything.

I just started my first TPI swap engine (406) today 24 Oct 06. Ran really rough, but all I did was set timing and break in the cam (run above 2000 for 20 minutes).
I can discuss some lessons learned so far, even though still learning. I have some way to go in tuning this thing.
