it runs pretty good yeah just apart from the running rich problem
someone i know said that its normal for some of the tubes to be ice cold because of the water jackets.
someone was saying the fuel pressure regulator may be bad for rich problem

pull off the upper intake and check the reg. be sure to release the pressure in the line first. if you see gas on top of the diaphram, thats your problem.
do you know how rich it is, some air fuel ratios might help. some times even when its smells rich, it might just be running fine. my little 305 always smelled like it ran rich. but the mixture was fine. i never found out why it smelled so bad though.

well that info just might help me... im not too sure what ratio is when i hooked it up to the scanner but all i know is i was getting 145-150 cfm of air g oing through the MAF sensor which is fine..... would you know also why fuel would dump into the cat and blast out exhaust very loudly?? sounds like shotguns off.... maybe bad misfire any ideas???
