holley fpr is a pos

well i installed my holley fuel pressure regulator and it lasted good for a day the next day im leaving work and theres fuel coming out of the vacuum fitting and adjusting **** and pouring out of the vacuum line into my intake i pulled my plenum and i almost had a coffee mug full of gas in it. So i pulled it and re installed everything read the directions and had the first time right. Also the only reason i can think of it leaking is maybe the diaphram but it has no damage. So i put the stock one back on and it doesnt leak and gives me no problems. Why is my holley fpr junk?

lol

With all the issues people have, you would think holley would fix them?

Stupid things are way overpriced anyhow.

Just read the tech article and make your stock FPR adjustable for a couple dollars.

I have one, Yes I paid the price, but I've had no problems with mine. I have to recheck mine in the spring. I forgot to look and see what they set my fuel pressure at after I had it up on the dyno and they tuned it for me. I had 5 bad injectors so I bought a new set of 24# LT1 injectors.
Plus I liked the look of Holleys better then anyones.

I've had a loud ticking sound just like a misadjusted lifter since I installed my new motor. I used the same injectors (bosch) and added the holley afpr. The ticking sound is centered in the rear of the intake just in front of the dizz. If I rest my fingers on the afpr I can feel the ticking in the afpr. Also when it sits overnight, the system loses pressure and takes 3-4 cranks to repressurize and fire. Not happy with it at all.
