A couple of months ago I put in some new ford motorsport 19lb injectors in my 1988 IROC. The car runs great, but these damn ford injectors are so loud!! I can hear them from inside the car. It just really getting on my nerves. Anyone know of a quieter set of injectors?
I see Jegs is now selling some Venom hi-flow injectors for around $200. Any one running these? Or know if these are little quieter at all?

From what I can tell they all have some noise to them. The LS1 style injectors seem to be the quietest from what I can tell from the set I have on my truck. Do a search there were a few posts about them.

Keep the SVO type.
By far the best injector and proven out there.
Get some headers and a louder catback, u wont notice it. :-)
If u installed them with the ford o-rings, which i dont recommend because they area slighlty smaller diameter than the GM o-rings, u might try the larger correct GM o-rings for a little more pulsation dampening. Might help, might not.
Also TPI cars tend to be louder and transmit more noise due to the entire intake is metal and everything that it bolts/fastnes to is metal.
Even stock injectors tend to tick.
Its when none of them tick you should get worried. Realistically non ticking is dirt/debris on the seat where the pintle opens and closes. Even a microscopic amount will cause the ticking to stop.

Maybe the o-ring trick met help. I already have headers and a custom exhaust with no cats. That's what is amazing is just how loud they are even over my exhaust.

I have the same injectors only #24's. On the stock motor last year they weren't to bad. I built a new motor this year and used aluminum heads, edelbrock hi flo runners and installed a holley afpr. This new combo is WAAAAAAAY louder. It sounds like a BADLY adjusted solid camshaft! I can feel the ticking if I rest my finger on the afpr. The hi flo runners are so big they actually contact a couple injectors. I believe the injectors cycling noise is transmitted through the larger runners and the new aluminum heads also act like a amplifier for the sound. It is embarassing sometimes.
