Transmission: T56 Conversion
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9bolt
Some tuning tips needed!
Hi!
I'd like to improve my engine's power ( L98 single-cat ).
Currently the engine is completely stock, has about 180rwhp with 2.73 rear axle ratio. ( quarter : 15.0 +- 0.3 @ ~ 90-93mph )
What would be the best way to spend about 2000$ (maybe more?) ??
I'd like to turbo or supercharge it, but i don't want to decrease my fuel consumption by more than 20%. Currently I have about 19-20mpg
My primary goal is to get my car as fast as an ls1.

Axle/Gears: 3.70
Autobahn - I would spend the money on a gear change to something like a 3.23 or 3.43. Your plan to improve the exhaust is good. I would also suggest a set of heads (Vortecs), cam and a base intake. If there is anything left over, a set of AS&M runners. THis combination should get you close to some of those LS1's.
