Doesn't run the same after blown FPR replacement
The other day driving into work my fuel pressure regulator diaphram blew and shot faw fuel into the intake. Somehow the engine kept running long enough for me to get to work. (About a mile or so) I had it towed to a shop and I replaced the regulator. When I took the intake apart, there was still raw fuel sitting in the plenum. When I went to restart the engine I was amazed at how much fuel was pumped out the exhaust.
I took it for a good burn down the highway but throttle response is not what it used to be before this happened. I'm worried about engine damage from fuel wash. My oil level is normal so I don't think I contaminated my oil with fuel too badly, but I'm planning on changing it this weekend.
Why am I low on power now? Does raw fuel foul an O2 sensor? What would be the best way to check for cylinder condition incase of cylinder wash from excessive fuel? Compression test?
Thanks for the advice,

A leak down test may show is there are any issues with the cylinder walls. But would be more informative if you had the results of a leak down test prior to the regulator issue. That way a current testcan be compared to the previous test.
As for power loss, the spark plugs may be fouled out. Changing them can't hurt and may be the answer.
RBob.

Do you have a cat on your car? Dumping raw fuel into the cat could cause it to overheat and clog up. That could cause some power loss as well. Changeng your O2 sensor cant hurt either.
