TPI 383...which headers?

is it better to have long tube headers or shorties? im going to have them collect into a 3" exhaust pipe and single muffler system running in the stock location. i also will have nitrious on this 383.

much thanks

TPI will probably keep a 383 from breathing well enough to need long tubes.

Try looking @ Dougs headers, i think they have a application for you. And go with long tubes, youll be fine. My 383 loves my long tubes, LOL...As well as the 3" exhaust, 58mm tb. and on and on.

"cough...cough" eldelcrocks should be used for nothing more than a 305.

I could not agree more. Looking at them side by side with a better header there is no comparison. They are "choke city".

they do have a website but it is very vague... very little info...,
ask me anything you want to know about these DOUGS headers for your 3rd gen. longtubes is what i have. but they make shortys too all DOUGS headers come COATED.

try going to JEGs and/or SUMMIT, i think they have more info than the dougs website(OH YEA i forgot Dougs is owned by pertronics thats prob... why you are having a hard time finding them)
