Yes, they are exactly the same runners. AS&M makes them for TPiS.

However, the runners I got from AS&M arrived badly dented. It could've happened in shipping, but as securely as they were bubble-wrapped, I doubt it. Then the replacement set they sent arrived very poorly and unevenly cleaned-up around the ports. Port-matching is one thing, but I shouldn't have to be cleaning-up obvious poor quality-control, especially for their price. I don't think TPiS would ever have sent sets like I received from AS&M.

I know most people here have been very happy with their AS&M runners, but needless to say, I am not. The people were nice to deal with, and they gladly replaced the first set for me, but getting them replaced still took about two months. So even the service at AS&M leaves something to be desired too, which left me with no desire to go through it again with the second set. I'll just do what I can with them myself.

But I can't help but wonder, for TPiS's slightly higher price, if they provide a better finished product. If I had it to do over again, I think I'd purchase mine from TPiS--or at least contact TPiS to findout what I'd be getting for their higher price.
