305 heads on 350
good idea?
i was told somewhere that 305s have 55ccs and 350s have 64cc
so if im making a 350, should i put my 305 heads on it? im going to do minor porting and valve relifeing, backcut valves etc
but what will it bump the compression ratio to?? 11:1 or somethign retarded? i dont want to run any higher than 91 octane

thats like a postitive and negative deal, yes it does raise rthe compression but 305 heads dont flow nearly as well as 350 heads. so you really dont gain anything. Later Daniel
