What type of piston????

Should I go with if I wanted to keep the compression at 10 to 1 or lower with stock iron vortec heads on a 350 l98? Would flat top pistons be to much or what? Or is there something better out on the market?

It's not just the pistons but the gasket thickness as well as the deck height of the pistons when installed. They all go together to determine CR, so you have to figure it all in together to find out your true CR.

ok well that helps alittle but if I put in the flattops would that bring the ratio too high for me too use nitrous if I wanted to down the road? And would any of you guys know about how much I'd gain if I bored it out when I put the flattop pistons in? With a small cam of course.

You can still run nitrous with flat tops. How much power you make depends on the cam.

Well lets say I go with this motor http://store.summitracing.com/partde...1&autoview=sku

and I put my Tpi injection on top of it. Would you be able to tell me around about what time slip I'd run in the 1/4 mile? I'm looking to see where certain options would take me so I can make my choice without saying "oh man I wish I had done that instead." But I do want the car to be a daily driver too so nothing too radical please.
