Where is the rag joint? ...and other things.
There's this location back near the firewall. It looks large enough for the rag joint to fit, but I don't think it goes there. There is a rubber boot around it that's split the whole way around. If anyone could help me out as to what in the world the part number is, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Then there's this location up by the steering box under this shroud. Unfortunately, the shroud is held in place by one of the steering pump fluid lines. Can I just cut the shroud off and go without it or should I just unhook the line and let it spill out? I figure it'll be a good time to replace the fluid anyway.

The rag joint should be under the plastic sheath at the bottom. It is the coupling that bolts the steering shaft directly to the steering box AT THE STEERING BOX.

Thanks for the SARCASM, but I've never messed with steering before.
Do you have any idea about that rubber boot in the first picture?
