question about my long tube headers..

question about my long tube headers..
i have a set of headman long tube headers that doesnt have the air tube hook up... if i put those on my car would it throw any codes or damage sumthing.... whats the purpose of the air tubes... cause my headers do not have the air tube hook-up and i think they are not street legal....

I have those headers on my car. You have to pull the AIR system out of the car. I am not sure if you have to keep something hooked up electrically so you don't throw a code. My headers were on my car when I got it. Do you have the rest of your exhaust system figured out? You will need collectors and then some sort of custom exhaust work? Each car is different too, so be prepared for clearance problems with suspension and frame. If I ever get new headers it will be the shorties.

no codes with AIR. just leave connectors hang or chop them off.
