More Power!
I have a 87 350 TPI with the basics done to it. The upgrades are Hooker Headers, Throttle Body, Flowmaster exhaust, Performance Chip, and K&N Filters. I am looking for more all around torque and Horsepower. I am planning on getting the Holley Stealth Ram set up. I want to know what is a good head/cam set up to use on my motor. I had some ideas but I feel that people on here know what they are talking about so I thought I would see what other people had to say. Thanks

tryin to do the same to my 350TPI. HSR is a pain to do bc of the fuel lines and the fittings etc (they dont match up and u have to buy alot of diff size fittings and cut the fuel lines and bend or make ur own)

Well if smogg is not an issue where you are , just go with the Stealth Ram , it's the cheapest . The Super Ram has it's issues with the fuel regulator aswell I think ( touching the plenum) Also gaskets are an issue if I remember correctly . I went with the Edelbrock HI-Flo TPI setup ( just because it has EGR provissions) . It's nice when ported out and stuff. But the Stealth Ram has alot more potential

yea for price u cant really beat the HSR, highflow TPIs are nice and easy bc they are a direct bolt in but wont flow enough where as the HSR and Superram will shine. the Superram is almost as much as a built hi po short block tho so id just go with the HSR, as far as the EGR....if it is removed with the HSR will the stock tuning still work? and what about aftermarket chips, i have an motorvation strip chip...will that work with the HSR? i also have the stock too...

Re: More Power!
LT1's i believe are somewhat of an easy swap but Lt1 engines use reverse cooling etc, i think the HSR flows more than the Lt1 thats why the LT4 is the better verson of the LT1. u still need fuel rails, chip, fuel fittings and all the electronic provisions etc, the HSR is a direct swap so it would be easier, HSR will produce more Tq bc the runners are longer and i thought the LT1 had diff angle on the heads but im not sure.
