Silly Question about Fuel Pump
Guys, is it possible for my fuel pressure to be okay (42 psi) and yet still have a problem with my fuel pump. When I have a quarter tank of gas or less and come to a stop, my car almost dies on me.

It may be that your fuel sender is bad, and you are actaully lower than you think. And you may be sucking up some air intermitantly.

I agree with GMTech. Sounds like your pickup is sucking air. Thinks happens to me all the time when cornering hard at 1/4 tank or less, but I don't ever remember it happening during a straight ahead stop. You must have great brakes or maybe a problemm with the pickup(?).
