I have a 88 Iroc with a stock L98 and I live in Florida. I am completely redoing the car and I only plan to drive it on the weekends and for fun. I was wondering if there is any reason for me to leave the 9th injector on or not. If I should remove does anyone know what I need or where I can get it to complete the removal.

 

A lot of threads cover this.You could search for complete information but it basically means swapping to an 89 or later computer and blocking the hole.

 

switch to a 89 code base and you can eliminate it (it throws extra fuel in to compensate during cold starts)
