I was wondering if the 96 intake base can be used on an 87 T/A . I have the vortec heads but,Im sick of waiting on the tpi base plate.

 

no sorry, the lt1 intake system is of a different
generation of small block chevrolet.
even if you are using the vortec cylinder head
the lt1/4 series is a completely different setup.
if youve got the complete tpi system but are looking
for a shorter plenum, look into a ram-jet manifold.
if im not mistaken mark @ street & performance
in mena arkansas has such a manifold or a manafold
for your combination.
